To be honest: I expected something different. The composers around Agus González-Lancharro are coming up with their first album for ReallySlowMotion Music. Thus I expected a massive track as their first single. Lots of drums, a huge choir, maybe hard working strings and brass: the entire epic equipment.

Now they come up with Blake “Blakus” Robinson’s Ruins and it’s totally not what I anticipated! It surprised me with its cello, which always carries a good portion of melancholia, and the build-up combined with the almost-too-high-but-therefore-perfect-fitting vocals.

We will definitely hear alot from these ReallySlowMotion guys in 2013!

Enjoy the most beautiful break-down you’ve ever had.
