Speculation has begun on where John Williams’ Score for Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens will be recorded. News broke out a few days ago that it will follow the same pattern as the previous 6 films, and be recorded in London with the London Symphony Orchestra, but the LSO later said it hasn’t been announced yet. With Williams not leaving the United States for many years, and considering his age, he may decide to break tradition and record it in Los Angeles, but I do hope he returns to London to continue the near 40 year relationship that Star Wars has with the London Symphony.
