Elliot Goldenthal’s Symphony, which was commissioned by the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and performed last year in concert, is to be released. They have asked many Composers to write Symphonies to be performed over the last few years, including James Newton Howard, who wrote the Symphony ‘I Would Plant A Tree,’ and more recently a Violin Concerto, which will be released together on CD later this year.
