If you ever dreamt of becoming a part of a major Trailer House and your passion is editing, this might be just for you: Editpool, an award-winning film marketing agency based in Soho, London, and responsible for Trailers and TV Spots including movies and TV Series like The Grandmaster, The Imitation Game, Interstellar, Game of Thrones, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, The Wind Rises, Kill Your Darlings and many, many more is looking for a trainee! You will support the main edit suites in an edit assistant role. All you need to do to apply is – cutting a trailer:

Your task is to cut a film trailer for Pulp Fiction. We keep the brief very minimal so we
can assess how much you understand about film trailers. You must cut the trailer from scratch,
please do not use existing trailers. The trailer should be between 90 seconds and
120 seconds long. Think about the structure and the story you are telling.

Spend time on the selection and use of music, which is always key in marketing trailers.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about film trailers and film-making.
All submissions must be presented back to Editpool by 5pm on Friday 17th July 2015.

If you’re not motivated enough already, what they say about their former trainees definitely will: “This is the fifth time we have run this scheme and all previous trainees are still with us, so we find it has been very successful in helping us choose suitable candidates.”

You find more info and where to send you application to on Editpool’s website. Good luck!
