Well in time for upcoming Halloween, Warner/Chappell Production Music’s trailer division Non-Stop Trailers debuted Glory Oath + Bloods’ hauntingly epic compilation of sound design tracks Deadtones (witty play of words when you look at Sam Hayle‘s cover art above) yesterday via all major online retailers. As the official press statement puts it, it was produced to create “an audio landscape of terror, intense anxiety and shockingly frightful, penetrating panic.”

Concerning the creative process behind the album Producer Robert Bennett mentions that “we put painstaking effort into locating and then recording rusty metals and old dusty pianos to design the sonic landscape for this devilish album.” On a more personal note, he added that “it was sometimes tough to sleep after recording all of these modern horror cues.” As Director of Licensing, David Epstein points out, the “The Glory Oath + Blood collection here at Non-Stop Trailers has proven to be successful not only within the trailer and sync world, but also to the epic music consumer.” You can find all publicly released albums on iTunes.

‘Deadtones’ already featured in ‘Ouija: Origin of Evil’ trailer campaign

While ‘Deadtones’ clearly isn’t your typical easy-listening experience, you can tell from its crisp sound quality and generally very clean but still gory sound design production, that it was created with editors in mind who have already picked up on it and placed it in the second Ouija: Origin of Evil trailer. It also features Glory Blood + Oath’s song ‘They Are Here’ by Horvath Marton and Flaviu Ciocan:
